Einhell 4173851 usisni filtar za pumpe

The Einhell 4173851 suction filter is an accessory designed to be fitted to water pumps to reduce the ingress of debris and large particles. Its black and transparent housing allows visual inspection of the filter element so users can determine cleaning intervals without disassembly. The filter is intended to improve pump performance by limiting blockages and protecting the pump hydraulic system, contributing to longer service life and steadier operation in a variety of pumping tasks.

Advantages

The suction filter combines a robust external body with a transparent section for quick visual checks, making maintenance simple and predictable. By trapping leaves, sand and other coarse matter before it reaches the pump, the filter reduces the risk of cavitation and impeller damage. The unit is compatible with common water pump installations and is easy to fit and replace, supporting continued pump efficiency and reducing downtime.

Suitable for

• Garden and irrigation pumps
• Sump and drainage pumping
• Temporary water transfer and filling tasks
• DIY and light professional water handling applications

Key specifications

• Housing: durable black plastic with transparent inspection window
• Function: coarse particle filtration to protect pump intakes
• Connection type: designed for standard water pump suction lines (check thread/diameter compatibility before installation)
• Maintenance: washable or replaceable filter element depending on contamination level
• Application temperature range: suitable for typical outdoor and indoor pumping conditions (avoid freezing conditions)

How to use

Install the suction filter inline on the pump suction hose or at the pump inlet according to the pump manufacturer's guidance, ensuring all connections are sealed to prevent air leaks. Position the transparent section where it is visible for regular inspection. Periodically stop the pump, depressurize the system and inspect the filter element; remove accumulated debris and rinse the element with clean water. If the filter element shows damage or excessive wear, replace it to maintain effective protection.

Recommendations

Before first use, verify that the filter connection matches your pump fittings and that all seals are intact. Avoid running the pump dry and check the filter after heavy debris inflow events. For installations in cold climates, remove or protect the filter to prevent freezing-related damage. Follow the pump manufacturer's maintenance schedule and inspect the suction filter at regular intervals to ensure continued protection.
