EFB Elektronik K5440HQSW.2 2 m HDMI kabel

The EFB Elektronik K5440HQSW.2 2 m HDMI cable is a standard Type A to Type A connection designed for reliable transmission of high-definition video and multi-channel audio between compatible devices. The cable supports 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC), and its gold-plated contacts are intended to reduce contact resistance for stable signal transfer. The black jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for home entertainment and office setups.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a straightforward plug-and-play experience with male Type A connectors on both ends, making it compatible with TVs, monitors, projectors, AV receivers and many multimedia devices that accept standard HDMI. Support for 3D and ARC expands its usability for modern AV systems where reverse audio flow and 3D content playback are required. Gold-plated contacts improve connector durability and help maintain consistent signal quality over repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, game consoles and set-top boxes to HDTVs or monitors
• Linking AV receivers to displays while using Audio Return Channel for simplified audio routing
• Attaching laptops or PCs with HDMI output to external monitors or projectors for presentations
• Home theatre setups where a discreet, low-profile black cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Supported features: 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or in standby before connecting. Insert one HDMI Type A plug into the HDMI output of the source device and the other plug into the HDMI input of the display or receiver until the connectors seat firmly. Power on the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If your setup uses ARC, enable ARC in the device menus according to the display and receiver instructions to allow audio to pass from the display back to the receiver.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors, and route it without tight kinks to preserve internal conductors. For optimal performance, use a direct connection between devices or quality switches/splitters certified for HDMI signals. If experiencing signal loss, check connector seating, try alternative HDMI inputs, and verify source and display settings for matching resolution and audio formats.
