EFB Elektronik K5431PRSW.5 HDMI kabel

The EFB Elektronik K5431PRSW.5 is a 5 m HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for transmitting high-definition video and audio between compatible devices. Featuring gold-plated contacts and a black outer jacket, this cable supports 3D video formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC) for simplified audio routing from display devices to audio systems. The male HDMI connectors on both ends provide a standard, secure fit with TVs, projectors, monitors and consumer electronics that use full-size HDMI ports.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and improve signal conductivity for consistent performance over time. A 5 m length provides flexibility for medium-range installations without the need for signal extenders. Support for 3D video and ARC extends functionality beyond basic HDMI transmission, enabling both immersive visual content and simplified audio return from displays. The standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure broad compatibility with most home and office AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a Blu-ray player or set-top box for high-definition video and audio
• Linking a gaming console to a monitor or TV for stable signal transmission
• Connecting a projector to a laptop or media player in meeting rooms or home theaters
• Using ARC to route audio from a smart TV to a soundbar or AV receiver

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Black

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or in standby before connecting. Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI port of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, gaming console or laptop) and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Power on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If using ARC, enable ARC in the TV and audio device settings so the TV can send audio back to the connected soundbar or AV receiver via the same HDMI cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly bending or kinking the cable and keep it away from heavy electrical interference sources. When routing the cable through walls or conduits, ensure compliance with local building codes and use appropriate installation tools. If longer distances are required beyond 5 m, consider active HDMI solutions or certified extenders to maintain signal integrity.
