DisplayPort adapter DeLOCK 66643

The DeLOCK DisplayPort 1.2 adapter (model 66643) is a female-to-female gender changer for DisplayPort connections. It converts a DisplayPort plug into a socket and supports pin 20 for 3.3 V voltage transmission. The adapter has a compact black design and is intended to join two DisplayPort cables reliably for video signal transmission.

Advantages

The adapter supports DisplayPort 1.2 features and enables resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz when used with compatible cables and devices. Its female-to-female configuration allows seamless connection between two standard DisplayPort cables. Built with durable materials, it provides a stable connection and a compact form factor that fits into most setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting two DisplayPort cables to extend length
• Converting a DisplayPort plug into a socket for compatibility
• Use with monitors, graphics cards and docking stations that use DisplayPort

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DisplayPort (female)
• Connector 2: DisplayPort (female)
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.2
• Supports pin 20 voltage transmission: 3.3 V
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 4K @ 60 Hz (depending on cables/devices)

How to use

Insert each end of the two DisplayPort cables into the adapter’s female sockets until they click or fit securely. Ensure connected devices and cables support DisplayPort 1.2 and the desired resolution. Avoid forcing connectors; if resistance is felt, check alignment and try again. Use appropriate cable lengths and quality to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality DisplayPort cables rated for DisplayPort 1.2 or higher and verify that connected devices support 4K@60Hz. Do not expose the adapter to moisture or excessive mechanical stress. If you experience signal loss, test with different cables or shorter runs.
