DIGITUS 1D 2D skener barkoda, desktop

Omni-directional barcode scanner designed for reliable use in checkout areas of pharmacies, supermarkets and other retail facilities. The DIGITUS® 2D scanner features a high-resolution CMOS sensor and motion-independent capture, supporting fast and accurate reading of 1D and 2D codes, including printed barcodes and codes displayed on screens such as smartphone payment QR codes.

Advantages

The scanner performs up to 200 scans per second with bidirectional scanning for dependable detection. Successful scans are confirmed by visual and audible signals. Plug-and-play operation requires no additional drivers. An integrated infrared sensor automatically activates scanning when a code is placed in the scan area. The compact housing with a swivel head saves space at the checkout and the anti-interference design prevents external light sources from affecting performance.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the scanner to the host system using the provided interface; no extra drivers are required for basic operation. Position barcodes or QR codes in the scanning area—static or moving codes are captured reliably thanks to the high-resolution sensor and bidirectional scanning. The integrated infrared sensor will activate the scanner automatically when a code is placed in range. Confirmed reads are indicated by light and sound; adjust the scanner head for an optimal angle in the checkout space if needed.

Recommendations

Use this DIGITUS® omni-directional scanner at point-of-sale counters for quick checkout and mobile payment scanning. For best results, ensure displays are at normal brightness and keep the scan window clean. Avoid obstructing the swivel head to maintain effective scanning angles.
