DeLOCK optički kabel LC-Duplex na LC-Duplex OM4 1 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OM4 1 m is a multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission between network devices. It features LC duplex connectors on both ends and an OM4 multimode fiber with a 50 µm core diameter. The 1 meter length and metal armouring provide a compact, durable connection suitable for short-range enterprise and data center links.

Advantages

The metal armouring increases protection against mechanical damage, moisture, dust and rodents while maintaining flexibility and bendability. The OM4 multimode fiber with 50 µm core supports high bandwidth and reliable signal transmission over short distances. LC duplex connectors on both ends allow compatibility with common networking equipment such as switches and media converters.

How to use

Align and insert the LC duplex connectors into the corresponding LC ports on the networking devices until they click into place. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to avoid signal loss. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress; the metal armouring protects the fiber but normal handling precautions should be observed. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw the plug.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 LC duplex cable for short-range multimode links in controlled indoor environments. Regularly inspect connectors for contamination and keep dust caps on unused ports. Do not expose the cable to prolonged outdoor weathering despite the metal sheath; it is intended primarily for indoor installations.
