Canon E-72II poklopac objektiva

The Canon E-72II Lens Cap fits lenses with a 72 mm front diameter and provides basic physical protection when the lens is not in use. Manufactured from durable plastic, the cap shields the front element from dust, light scratches and minor impacts while remaining lightweight and easy to attach or remove. The design is compatible with Canon-branded lenses and many third-party 72 mm lens barrels, making it a practical accessory for everyday photography equipment care.

Advantages

The lens cap offers a simple snap-on mechanism that secures the cover to the lens without the need for additional adapters. Its resilient plastic construction resists cracking under normal use and helps keep debris away from the glass surface. The low weight minimizes added bulk to the lens, while a neutral finish preserves the camera’s professional appearance. The cap’s dimensions correspond to 72 mm lens threads, ensuring a reliable fit for compatible optics.

How to use

Align the center-pinch tabs with the outer rim of the lens barrel and press gently until the cap snaps into place. To remove, squeeze the center tabs inward and pull the cap straight off to avoid contact with the lens surface. Use the cap whenever the lens is detached from the camera or stored in a bag to reduce the risk of dust accumulation and accidental surface damage. Ensure the cap is seated evenly to maintain a secure fit.

Recommendations

Clean the cap periodically with a soft cloth to remove accumulated dust and particles. For long-term storage, pair the lens cap with a rear lens cap and a padded case to maintain optical condition. Avoid exposing the cap to extreme heat or solvents that could deform the plastic.
