Bosch GSS 18V-10 akumulatorska ekscentrična brusilica

The Bosch GSS 18V-10 is a compact cordless orbital sander designed for general sanding and finishing tasks. It uses a Velcro sanding pad attachment for quick abrasive changes and runs from an 18V battery with a 5 Ah capacity, offering cordless convenience and consistent performance. The tool's small footprint (113 mm width, 200 mm depth, 140 mm height) and lightweight construction make it suitable for one-handed operation and tight spaces, while its sanding surface area of 1.14 m² supports efficient material removal across larger surfaces. Vibration emission is specified at 7.5 m/s² to indicate user comfort during extended use.

Advantages

The sander's Velcro fastening system enables fast and secure abrasive replacement without additional tools, reducing downtime between grit changes. Battery operation provides freedom from cords and improves mobility on job sites or in workshops. Compact dimensions and a low weight of 1.7 kg contribute to better handling and reduced operator fatigue. The moderate vibration emission helps maintain control and comfort during prolonged sanding sessions.

Suitable for

• Surface preparation before painting or varnishing
• Removing paint, primer or light surface imperfections
• Intermediate sanding between finish coats
• Sanding small furniture parts, doors and window frames

Key specifications

• Power source: 18V battery (5 Ah capacity)
• Sanding pad attachment: Velcro (hook-and-loop)
• Overall dimensions: 113 mm (W) × 200 mm (D) × 140 mm (H)
• Sanding surface area: 1.14 m²
• Vibration emission: 7.5 m/s²
• Weight: 1.7 kg

How to use

Attach a compatible Velcro-backed abrasive sheet to the sanding pad, ensuring it is aligned and firmly pressed into place. Insert a charged 18V battery with appropriate capacity and check that it is securely seated. Turn on the sander and allow it to reach its operating speed before engaging the workpiece. Move the sander with steady, even passes, keeping the pad flat against the surface and avoiding prolonged dwell in one spot to prevent uneven removal or gouging. After finishing, switch the tool off and remove the battery before changing abrasives or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use progressively finer grits for a smooth finish, starting with coarser abrasives for material removal and finishing with finer papers for surface refinement. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as eye protection and a dust mask, and use dust extraction or a vacuum where possible to reduce airborne particles. Store the tool and batteries in a dry, cool place and follow manufacturer guidelines for battery charging and care.
