BlueOptics SFP3333FU2MK InfiniBand optički kabel 2 m ST

The BlueOptics SFP3333FU2MK is a 2 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable with ST connectors and OM4 multimode fibre. Designed for full-duplex data transmission, this cable supports high-speed links between networking equipment that use InfiniBand interfaces. The compact 2 m length and standard ST termination make it suitable for racks, server rooms and structured cabling installations where OM4 performance is required.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode fibre delivers low attenuation and high bandwidth capacity for short to medium reach connections. Full duplex support enables simultaneous bidirectional data flows, increasing effective throughput for storage, cluster computing and switch interconnects. ST connectors provide reliable mechanical connection in legacy and current networking gear that use bayonet-style terminations. The 2 m cable length reduces excess slack while offering flexibility for common rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment runs.

How to use

Inspect connectors and fibre ends for cleanliness before installation and, if required, clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Align and insert the ST connectors into the corresponding ports until the bayonet locks engage. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, maintaining the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM4 fibre. Verify link status on connected devices and test throughput and error rates after installation to confirm performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. Use labelled cable management and secure the cable within racks to prevent connector strain. When connecting to devices, ensure the ports are compatible with ST terminations and OM4 multimode specifications; perform optical testing if precise link characteristics are required.
