Akasa AK-HDA-05 adapter 3,5 inch

The Akasa 3.5" Device/SSD/HDD Adapter is a compact mounting accessory designed to secure 3.5-inch drives within compatible enclosures or drive bays. Constructed from durable black plastic, the adapter provides a stable interface for installing HDDs or SSDs that conform to the 3.5" form factor, enabling reliable mechanical support and alignment during use. Its lightweight build makes it suitable for retrofit and upgrade projects where fixed drive positioning and vibration reduction are required.

Advantages

This adapter offers a straightforward solution for fitting 3.5" drives into appropriate enclosures without modifying the drive or the enclosure. The plastic construction balances durability with light weight, and the black finish ensures a low-profile appearance inside racks or cases. The design facilitates secure mounting and correct alignment of connector ports to maintain optimal electrical and data connections.

Suitable for

• Mounting 3.5" HDDs in compatible external or internal enclosures
• Installing 3.5" form-factor SSDs where a fixed mounting point is required
• Upgrading storage in desktop PCs, NAS enclosures, or custom chassis
• Replacing worn or missing drive brackets in older systems
