Adapter kabela LogiLink NP0034A

The LogiLink NP0034A is a compact black RJ-45 cable gender changer designed to join two RJ-45 patch cables quickly and securely. Its two RJ-45 female connectors provide a simple inline solution for extending or re-routing Ethernet connections without modifying existing cabling. The adapter maintains a low profile and durable housing suitable for tight spaces and temporary or permanent networking arrangements.

Advantages

This RJ-45 cable gender changer offers a tool-free way to connect two Ethernet cables, minimizing downtime during network reconfiguration. The compact design reduces strain on cable connectors and fits easily behind equipment or within patch panels. Constructed with reliable contacts and a robust outer shell, the adapter is built for repeated use and consistent electrical contact.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet runs where a short join is required
• Connecting patch cables in home or office networks
• Temporary network setups for testing or troubleshooting
• Compact spaces behind routers, switches, or wall outlets

Key specifications

• Connector type: two RJ-45 female connectors
• Colour: black
• Form factor: inline, compact adapter
• Compatibility: standard 8P8C Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6 and similar)
• Usage: passive mechanical coupler for copper twisted-pair cables

How to use

To use the LogiLink RJ-45 gender changer, simply insert the RJ-45 plug of one Ethernet cable into one end of the adapter and insert the plug of the second cable into the opposite end until each latch clicks into place. Ensure the connectors are fully seated to maintain stable contact. The adapter does not require power or drivers and can remain in-line as part of a permanent installation or be used temporarily for testing and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter with cables of similar category (for example, Cat5e with Cat5e or Cat6 with Cat6) to preserve signal characteristics. Avoid placing the adapter under heavy mechanical stress or in environments with excessive moisture or dust. If a long-term, high-performance link is required, consider using a single continuous cable or a properly rated patch panel connection instead of multiple inline couplers.
