Entrust vrpca YMCKT 500, DIST, ADVANCED

For high-volume card issuance where every badge must look crisp and withstand daily handling, the Entrust 525170-204 YMCKT ribbon delivers full-colour dye-sublimation plus a protective topcoat panel. Unlike standard YMCKO ribbons that leave cards vulnerable to fading and scratches, this Advanced Series ribbon includes a clear topcoat (T) that seals each printed image, extending card life and preserving sharp text, barcodes, and photos. Each roll yields 500 prints, making it a cost-effective choice for busy ID programmes.

Highlights

• YMCKT panel set: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Resin Black, and Topcoat for durable, high-resolution output.
• 500 prints per roll – ideal for medium to high-volume card production.
• Compatible with Entrust Datacard SD, CD, and Sigma series printers (see full list below).
• Topcoat panel adds scratch and fade resistance, keeping cards looking new longer.
• Resin black panel ensures crisp, scannable barcodes and sharp text.
• Includes one cleaning roller to maintain printer performance.

In daily use

This ribbon is engineered for environments where cards are issued frequently and must remain readable – employee badges, student IDs, access control cards, loyalty and gift cards. The topcoat panel is applied automatically after the colour and black panels, creating a protective barrier that resists abrasion from card readers, wallets, and lanyards. The dye-sublimation process delivers smooth gradients and accurate colours, while the resin black ensures edge definition for machine-readable elements. Store the ribbon in a cool, dry place (15–30°C, 40–60% RH) to maximise shelf life and print quality.
